Yamaha pulls out of Qatar as spotlights shifts to F1 over safety questions

Yamaha’s withdrawal from the Qatar MotoGP round has brought safety concerns in the Middle East into sharper focus ahead of Formula 1’s scheduled visit to Lusail later this month. However, the manufacturer’s decision does not itself mean F1’s Qatar Grand Prix will be cancelled or changed.
