No election for IOA Athletes’ Commission as all 10 candidates declared unopposed

The IOA Athletes’ Commission election scheduled for November 3 has been deemed unnecessary after all 10 candidates were declared elected unopposed. The withdrawal of nominations by Kidambi Srikanth and Sudha Singh left one candidate for each position. The Commission will comprise five men and five women representing nine sports.
